From a legal perspective, by signing up, the visitor gives their consent to store and use their personal data to send them the newsletter. You would need a separate checkbox for asking consent if you wanted to use this data for other purposes as well. For example, if you wanted to send them advertisements or offers along with a newsletter, then you would need to ask for consent for this separately.

However, we recommend that you add information regarding what exactly you will be sending them.
