Installing Ransomware Recovery Manager

Introduction

This article describes the Ransomware Recovery Manager installation process. Before you begin, ensure that Windows has no pending updates and that your drive is not encrypted by BitLocker or Device Encryption.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Windows 10 and 11

  • 8GB Memory   

  • 10 GB Free Disk Space       

  • C: Drive cannot be compressed or encrypted       

  • RAID configurations are not supported

 

Download:

If you haven’t already, log into your DATA443 account to access your download.

Download RRM

Installation:

After RRM is downloaded right click the installer and select open.

 

 

Click next to continue.

 

Click next to install prerequisites. If the prerequisites are already installed on your computer, you will not see this page.

 

Click next to continue the installation. Data443 Antivirus will install with Ransomware Recovery Manager.

 

Click Accept to Accept the License Agreement.

 

Click next to select the installation folder. The default folder is recommended.

Click Install to begin the installation.

Click yes to reboot (recommended)

 

 

 

After reboot setup must be completed. Enter the License Key and set your password.

Click the data443 logo to enable protection. The system will restart, and protection will be enabled.
