How do I install the application for my organization (Android)?

Each organization has a unique URL that hosts their custom ARALOC applications. You may have received this URL in your ARALOC system enrollment email. If you do not know your organization's app URL, please contact your system administrator.

In order to install Enterprise Android apps on your phone or tablet, “Install from Unknown Sources” must be enabled. From the Settings screen, select the “Security” tab, then ensure the checkbox for “Unknown sources” is selected. This screen may vary based on your device or Android version.

 

Navigate to the download URL provided by your organization and tap the “Install” button next to the ARALOC Android App. Your device will begin downloading the android “APK” file that contains the program. You may receive a warning while downloading the file. This warning is to inform you that you are downloading a program file. Select “Yes” or “OK” to download and continue.

 

After downloading is complete, install the app by selecting the APK file in the notifications menu or in your file manager. After opening the APK file, an install screen is displayed:

 

Select “Install” to install the application.

 

After installation, open the app by selecting the icon and the login screen will be displayed.
