Active Directory Bind

Active Directory Bind joins the Arcmail appliance to the domain. This step is required to enable authentication of Active Directory users. This screen can also be used to leave or unbind the appliance from a domain.

Note: This procedure is not necessary if you are not using active directory.

Procedure 1-28- Perform the following steps to perform active directory bind tasks:

Step Action
1 Click the CONFIGURATION tab. Click Active Directory Bind. The active directory bind screen is shown:

2 Select the desired action from the drop down menu (bind/join or unbind/leave).
3 Enter the Domain Administrator username and password.
4 Click the Submit button.
